So Fox has announced it's going to be rebooting The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Having been one of the few people who actually liked the original, I'm personally very excited. It seems not a lot of people share this opinion though. Reactions to the news I've seen so far have been very mixed.
This seems like it has huge potential. The original was a fantastic idea in concept. Where it suffered though was with limits on technology and people's attitude towards comic book adaptations in a pre-Avengers era. After the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in recent years though, I think the reboot be much more positively received. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it being given an update and (hopefully) the love it really deserved the first time around.
